Mulled Gin Sour
Today’s serve for #WelshGinMonth is a spin on a Gin Sour, using the amazing @inthewelshwindgin
With the incredible flavours of oranges, cinnamon, cloves, ginger and tea-soaked currants in the gin, a festive cocktail was calling. Adding orange and cinnamon bitters, with a mulled wine syrup gave the whole serve that beautiful Christmas flavour
(The original recipe for the mulled wine was created by the master @garethevans201212 from @baravinaber )
Finally I garnished it with grated nutmeg, grated orange peel, maraschino cherries and a charred cinnamon stick which gave the serve that perfect bouquet of winter spices
